**About the opportunity**:
We are seeking a **Dental Assistant/Receptionist** who is looking for an abundance of opportunities for skill advancement and personal development. If you love to go above and beyond for your patients/customers than this is the role for you! Initially this role will sit within reception with a view to cross-train into dental assisting in the near future.
- _ 1 x Full Time Dental Assistant/Receptionist (Flexibility required between 7:30am-6:00pm Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays)._

**The Heart of the Role**:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships by providing excellent customer service to our patients
- Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment
- Deliver quality chairside assistance to our Dentists
- Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression
- Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
- Handling payments
- Provide instrument sterilisation and infection control solutions
- Maintain and implement infection control standards and procedures
- Patient care from entry to the surgery and recall management
**What you'll bring**:
- Ideally **12**+ months **experience in Australia as a Receptionist.
- Flexibility to cross train into Dental Assisting. Full training and support provided.
- Must have a current Working with Children's Check, or be willing to obtain one
- You're a motivated self-starter, this is a fast paced and dynamic role
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about customer service and patient care
- Vivacious and vibrant personality!
- Organised with attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
