Job Overview
The role of Development Services Officer is crucial in assisting with requests related to water and sewer servicing of new land and property developments, monitoring trade waste and backflow requirements, and responding to build over enquiries.
* Provide support in preparing responses to councils and developers for development and subdivision referrals.
* Contribute to the review of water supply and sewerage designs, construction standards, standard drawings, specifications, and other relevant functions.
* Process connections for water, sewer, roof water, and fire services.
* Respond to enquiries related to water and sewer servicing, private water and sewer agreements, build-over agreements, and other utility works.
* Relevant experience in the water industry or public sector, demonstrating professional capabilities.
* A background in technical design, planning, engineering, or construction is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities with confidence, and maintain a high level of organisation and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
