Senior Cloud Strategist, Public Sector

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead strategic business development and own the sales motion end-to-end for AWS Professional Services in the Public Sector. You will work closely with customers to understand their business outcomes and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Qualify and develop new opportunities for AWS Professional Services within new and existing territories.
* Develop and execute account plans, working closely with AWS Sales.
* Own the sales motion end-to-end, including prospecting, qualification, and closure.
* Lead sales to delivery for AWS Professional Services consultants.
* Act as a trusted advisor to customers.
* Support complex RFx responses and direct bids.
* Manage strategic pursuits and orchestrate internal teams to accelerate deal closure.
Requirements:
* 10+ years of consulting experience in serverless distributed solutions.
* 5+ years of cloud-based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network, and operating system experience, or a Bachelor's degree.
* 10+ years of external or internal customer-facing, complex, and large-scale project management experience.
* 7+ years of technical specialist, design, and architecture experience.
* Ability to obtain Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) clearance (NV1 or above).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Cloud certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect – Associate.
* AWS Certified AI Practitioner certification.
