About the Role
As a key member of the Human Resources and Safety Directorate Leadership Team, you will play an active role in shaping, implementing, and monitoring both directorate and branch strategic plans.
Leading the Industrial Relations branch, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing industrial relations and workplace reform strategies that drive positive change across the organisation. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to foster a constructive and inclusive workplace culture. By delivering effective, efficient, and high-quality industrial relations services, you will directly support DFES's strategic and operational objectives.
Your leadership will ensure that programs and initiatives are implemented in a timely manner and aligned with the needs of both the workforce and the organisation. You will also be required to represent the Department at Industrial Tribunals, oversee the negotiation and registration of the Western Australian Fire Service Enterprise Bargaining Agreement and the Fleet and Equipment Services Agreement as, as well as the modernisation and ongoing maintenance of the DFES Agency Specific Industrial Agreement.

Eligibility To Apply
