Job Description
Contracts Management Specialist, Full-time, Permanent, Port Melbourne, onsite. Reporting to the Senior Finance Leader, this role is responsible for ensuring that all sales and partnership contracts are drafted, negotiated and reviewed in a timely manner, and that changes are communicated across the business.
About the role
* Exercise appropriate signature authority in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, and technologies.
* Negotiate business terms and conditions in a team environment with engagement of subject matter experts.
* Manage General Terms Agreement, Special Business Provisions, and Administrative Agreements.
* Develop proposals and business terms accurately and on schedule.
* Represent the company in external negotiations with a diverse set of customers.
* Prepare, negotiate, execute, interpret and administer complex legally binding contractual agreements for The Boeing Company.
* Summarize complex contractual issues, lead development of creative solutions, and coordinate contractual risk mitigation.
* Continuously improve, update, simplify and align procedures applicable to contracts and business operations.
* Provide contractual advice to the business and leadership team.
* Monitor and report enterprise performance metrics.
* Ensure compliance with government and customer policies and regulations.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)
* Tertiary level or equivalent qualifications in law, business management or a related discipline.
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
* Typically 3–5 years proven experience in Revenue Contract Management, Legal or Business Management.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including experience of customer interaction.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, strong decision‐making and problem‐solving skills.
* Ability to perform with minimal direction to support diverse and urgent customer needs.
* Ability to work with urgency and deliver commitments in challenging conditions.
* Experience within a complex manufacturing environment or global enterprise highly regarded.
Additional Information
This is a non‐EBA IJC 5A8613. Remuneration will be commensurate with skills and experience. The successful candidate will be required to complete pre‐employment checks and a 6‐month probationary period.
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Required.
