An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse (Mental Health - Clozapine Service) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Contribute to the clinical education of students and other less experienced staff 
Work collaboratively to provide integration and coordination between different sites or programs and to facilitate the delivery of an productive and responsive mental health service 
Establish and maintain partnerships with consumers and their family/carers in cooperation with other care providers
About you
To be successful in this position you will require: 
A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent 
Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia 
Be credentialed through the College of Mental Health Nurses, or be prepared to work towards a credential in Mental health 
A graduate certificate or greater within a relevant specialty area is highly desirable 
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B 
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required 
Declaration of responsible discipline history must be disclosed 
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Base salary ranging from $107 960 - $115 604 per annum

The Continuing Care Community service line provides community based mental health care to consumers across the Gold Coast with adjunct specialist programs. The Clozapine Service operates as a single work unit providing four pathways of care including GP Shared Care Arrangement, GP Shared Care Clinic, Nurse Led Clinic and Care Management.
