Financial Advisory Services, Metropolitan South Region, has a permanent opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their team. In this role, you'll work closely with schools to enhance their financial capabilities, ensuring effective resource management that drives improved educational outcomes for students. The position is based in either Mount Gravatt or Ipswich (to be negotiated) providing advice and support to school staff regarding financial management.
Your Role
Support the development and delivery of financial management training material to support schools.
Assist with the development and communication of school accounting policies and procedures.
Responsibilities Include
Undertaking analysis of the financial management practices and financial performance of schools.
Providing financial management advice to school-based staff.
Monitoring the level of financial management competencies within schools.
Providing appropriate training and development programs to enhance financial management skills.
Working effectively in a team environment.
About You
Sound knowledge of contemporary financial management issues and strategies impacting schools.
Ability to interrogate and analyse school financial management systems - Agresso and OneSchool Finance experience is highly regarded.
Ability to deliver training programs relating to school financial management, including in an online format.
High level communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to influence customer behaviour and implement change.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills appropriate to achieving outcomes within negotiated timeframes.
