About the role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and based out of our site at Carrington we're seeking a permanent Electrical Trade qualified Electrician to join the team, with responsibility for a broad range of Electrical servicing, maintenance, installations and upgrades of fixed and mobile plant and equipment. This role will provide the opportunity to assist in managing shutdowns. GrainCorp has training and development pathways that encourage participation and personal development.
Specifically, you'll be responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance tasks including:
* Fault finding and repairs to electrical switch panels, fixed infrastructure, mobile equipment, & plc systems
* Attending to equipment failure or breakdowns as they may occur
* Preparing and submitting maintenance reports as requested
* Record keeping using our SAP Maintenance platform for compliance
The role is primarily based around a 35hr week that reflects the current Enterprise Agreement. The roster is a rotation of day, afternoon and nightshifts.
About your experience
Our ideal candidate has a relevant trade certificate in Electrotechnology / Electrician. You will have proven fault-finding capabilities and be proactive and safety focused. Computer literate, self-motivated and reliable, you'll have solid time management abilities and a high standard of communication. The ability to work at heights and within confined spaces is required. Qualifications for these tasks would be preferred, but not essential.
