About the role:
Leading a small, service-focusedteam, you will oversee theday-to-daymanagement of stores, inventory systems, and warehouse facilities. This includes ensuring materials are available whenrequired, accurately controlled, and stored safely to support maintenance activitiesandbroader operational requirements. Working closely withstakeholders includingMaintenance and Project teams, you willleverageyourmaterials managementinsights to enhance the efficiency ofwarehousesand inventory processes to improve how we deliver for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead,coachand develop the Stores team, fostering aculturefocused onsafety,collaborationandservice
* Manage inventory accuracy, stock availability, and compliance with storage and materials handling requirements
* Maintain andoverseeinventory master data within the inventory management system
* Manage the end‐to‐end refurbishment process for critical plant and operational components
* Coordinate stocktakes, cycle counting, and the lifecycle management of repairable assets
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, reliability, risk management, and cost control
* Optimise warehouse layout, space utilisation, and materials handling practices to improve efficiency
* Build andmaintaineffective working relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and service providers
Desired Skills and Experience
* Leadership experience in warehouse and inventory management within aheavyindustrial environment
* Relevant qualifications in materials management,logistics,procurementor a relatedfield
* Experience ininventory management, ERPsystemsand stock control processes
* Understanding of hazardous materials handling, WHSand regulatory compliance
* A commitment tocontinuous improvementwith success inleading improvement outcomes
* Effective communicationand stakeholder engagement skills
* Forklift Licence and Dogman competency is desirable
