Job Title: Field Service Technician
The primary responsibility of a Field Service Technician is to perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment.
This role requires regional travel throughout the state as well as occasional interstate or international travel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out service work as specified in existing service contracts.
* Install machinery and assist with commissioning new machines to customer requirements.
* Perform machine audits.
* Conduct regular maintenance and repairs.
* Execute modifications and upgrades of existing machines.
* Maintain internal relationships through effective communication.
Requirements:
* Electrician with mechanical aptitude &/or mechanical trade qualification with restricted electrical license.
* Experience in electrical troubleshooting skills (Low voltage 24vdc).
* Experience in food industry with packaging and processing equipment.
* Strong mechanical aptitude with methodical approach to solving technical issues.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals & drawings.
* Ability to apply problem-solving techniques to technical, application and other related issues.
* Intermediate knowledge in MS Office with comfort using various apps/software on associated devices.
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
* Customer-focused and able to work both independently and part of a team.
