Job Opportunity for Financial Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled financial professional to take on a key leadership role within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance function, providing strategic insights and driving growth and sustainability.
Responsibilities
* Financial Management: Oversee the financial operations of multiple companies, preparing financial reports, identifying areas for cost enhancement and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage annual operating budgets, monitor actual performance against budget and maintain rolling forecasts to support cash flow.
* Inventory and Job Costing: Oversee inventory accounting, stock valuations and reconciliation processes, support job costing analysis and provide input to business planning and strategic projects.
* Team Leadership: Lead, manage, coach and mentor a team of finance professionals, set clear goals and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
* A degree in Business or Commerce with an Accounting major
* CA or CPA qualified or working towards
* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing sector
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
