Financial Operations Assistant
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management of financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and processing of financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
* Manage and reconcile vendor statements, invoices, and payments.
* Perform general cashier duties, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and petty cash.
* Assist in the month-end close process, including posting journal entries and reconciliations.
* Monitor and maintain accurate ledgers and schedules to ensure proper internal control.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in an accounting or related field.
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable and payroll.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Familiarity with hotel PMS systems is preferred.
