Autoleague is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Manager 2IC to join the team at Midland City. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will support the day‐to‐day operations of a busy service department, helping drive team performance, workshop efficiency and exceptional customer service. About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Support the Service Manager in overseeing the Service Department's daily operations
* Assist in leading and motivating Service Advisors, Technicians and support staff
* Act as a primary point of contact for customers – handling inquiries, concerns, and providing exceptional service
* Coordinate workshop workflow, repair scheduling and productivity
* Ensure repair and maintenance work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
* Assist in managing schedules, workloads, and workflow to meet customer needs
* Maintain a high standard of quality control and customer satisfaction
* Collaborate with the Service Manager to develop and implement service strategies to meet company goals
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Workshop Control, Assistant Service Manager or similar leadership role
* Strong understanding of automotive service operations and workshop processes
* Excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills
* Strong organisational and time‐management abilities
* The ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced environment
* Sound computer and dealership system skills
