About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Health & Safety professional to join our team in a newly created role. This is an exciting opportunity to build structure, strengthen capability, and make a meaningful impact across our organisation.
In this role you will work closely with leaders across the business to ensure safe client site operations, effective injury management, and a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive site safety assessments at client locations
* Identify risks and implement practical control measures
* Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation
* Manage internal workers compensation processes end-to-end
* Coordinate return-to-work programs and rehabilitation plans
* Liaise with insurers, medical providers, and key stakeholders
* Train, coach, and develop leaders to strengthen safety capability
* Drive continuous improvement in safety systems and practices
About You
You are a confident safety professional who can operate both strategically and operationally. You are comfortable influencing leaders and managing sensitive workers compensation matters with professionalism and care.
You will bring:
* Experience in health & safety management
* Strong knowledge of workers compensation and injury management processes
* Experience conducting safety audits or site assessments
* Demonstrated ability to train and develop leaders
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Relevant qualifications in WHS or a related field will be highly regarded.
