Key Duties Evaluate students' skills to create a flexible, individualised curriculum in English that addresses their specific needs and goals. Implement learning programs based on research into how students learn, using formative assessment techniques to adjust instruction and enhance engagement and understanding. Continuously refine teaching strategies and activities using student feedback and assessment data to improve lesson plans and delivery. Develop student-centred activities that promote exploration and innovation in product design, encouraging practical application of theoretical knowledge. Set high expectations to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture, fostering creativity and problem-solving. Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours. Skills and Experience Demonstrated experience in teaching English at Secondary year levels. VCE Experience preferred Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to students’ academic and personal growth Good communication skills and the ability to explain complex design concepts effectively and engage with students, colleagues, and parents. Committed to ongoing professional development, keeping up-to-date with current trends in English literature, and maintaining a proactive attitude.
