About the role
We are seeking to add an enthusiastic and dynamic Registered Nurse to our team to assist in the development of our practice and treatment room.
This will be a part time/Casual/full time position and the remuneration package is negotiable depending on skills and experience. A guide salary is as per the Nurses Award 2010(MA Can offer above the award based on experience.
The role will involve working at our General Practice in Gladstone, QLD and will have excellent opportunities for formal and informal training. The successful candidate will be able to display a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development. They will have a positive attitude towards patient centred care and teamwork. We accept both experienced /no experience
Duties include:
Typical duties
• Triage
• Immunisation, management
• Wound care, assisting with minor procedures, infection control
• Stock control
• Health assessments, management of chronic disease
• Diagnostic procedures e.g. ECG, spirometry ,basic medicals
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role essential criteria include:
• Registered Nurse with current APHRA registration
• Current CPR certificate
• Demonstrable commitment to CPD and lifelong learning
• Excellent work ethic with a demonstrable ability to be reliable, flexible and a team player
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service
• Well developed computer skills, punctuality, continuity
• Professional, efficient and passionate nurse
• Ability to multi-task including prioritization of tasks as clinically appropriate.
