Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation is looking for an engaging, motivated and detail‑focused Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our Darwin team.
In this role, you’ll be a trusted recruitment specialist and business partner, guiding leaders and candidates through the recruitment process. You’ll bring expertise, insight and care to every stage of the recruitment process, helping Miwatj attract and welcome people who are committed to improving health outcomes for Aboriginal communities.
You’ll also play a key role in creating a smooth, positive and culturally respectful recruitment experience for new and existing staff across the organisation.

* Annual salary between $85,368 - $98,000 Base + Super (depending on experience)

What you’ll do
* Manage end‑to‑end recruitment: from job briefs, advertising, shortlisting, phone screening, coordinating interviews & references.
* Act as a subject matter expert, advising hiring managers on best‑practice, culturally appropriate recruitment.
* Prepare employment contracts and deliver a welcoming, well‑organised onboarding experience.
* Maintain accurate recruitment records, systems and compliance documentation.
* Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders through clear, timely and respectful communication.
* Ensure every candidate experience reflects Miwatj’s values, culture and commitment to community.
What you’ll bring
* Proven experience in recruitment and onboarding.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work across cultures.
* Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
* Great organisation, attention to detail and discretion
* Willingness to travel to remote communities when required.
