Key responsibilities include:

* Developing and implementing effective community programs that cater to the unique needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

* Leading the Social and Emotional Wellbeing team to deliver on agreed outcomes and exceed expectations.

* Coordinating inter-program partnerships across services to drive positive change.

* Liaising with funding organisations, professional bodies, and other agencies to secure support and resources.

* Staying abreast of current issues related to social and emotional wellbeing through regular attendance at conferences, seminars, and community events.

* Monitoring service delivery against prepared KPIs to ensure continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications
">
To be successful in this role, you will require:

* A minimum Certificate IV in a field related to individual and/or group work, such as Community Services, Youth Work, Welfare, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
">
* Proven leadership and management skills, including program implementation and staff management.
">
* An analytical mindset with high conceptual skills, problem-solving ability, and experience researching relevant topics.
">
* The ability to think critically and proactively, with a focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
">
* Knowledge and understanding of child protection requirements, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally safe approaches.
">
* Understanding of the issues and barriers impacting the safety and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
">
* Knowledge and understanding of funding agreements, sector trends, and evidence-based practices.
">
* Knowledge of Closing the Gap initiatives.
