What You'll Do
As a vital part of our team, you will be at the heart of our operations, providing essential legal support and client service for the Workcover Lawyer. Your daily responsibilities will keep you engaged, challenged, and constantly learning as you:
* Assist with general administration and filing
* Maintain calendars and diary appointments
* Develop a deeper understanding of litigation procedures in the respective department
* Open new files, prepare letters and correspondence, and draft medical-legal letters of instruction
* Compile briefs and court documents
* Proactively liaise with the supervising solicitor and relevant parties to advance files
* Monitor critical dates to ensure deadlines are met
* Respond to general enquiries via telephone and in-person
