Job Title: Director of Early Childhood Education
The role of the Director of Early Childhood Education involves providing strategic leadership to drive high-quality outcomes for children, families, and educators.
This position requires a visionary leader who can implement the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS), embedding best practices across the service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership: Drive the implementation of the EYLF and NQS, ensuring excellence in early childhood education.
* Mentorship & Empowerment: Support and guide educators in curriculum design, intentional teaching, and reflective practices that enhance learning outcomes.
* Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development, review, and evolution of our Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), ensuring it reflects our commitment to excellence.
* Professional Development: Lead dynamic professional learning sessions and foster team discussions that spark pedagogical innovation and shared vision.
* Learning Environments: Ensure learning spaces are inclusive, engaging, and tailored to children's interests and developmental stages—where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to thrive.
Requirements:
* Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved).
* Strong understanding of contemporary early childhood pedagogy and experience in an educational leadership role.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
* Collaborative, proactive, and reflective approach to early childhood education.
* Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or VIT, First Aid and CPR certification, Police check.
* Eligible to work in Australia (Australian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa).
