The Role
PCS is entering a significant new phase aligned to its 2025–2030 Strategic Plan. The Chief Executive Officer will lead organisational transformation and drive delivery across five strategic pillars:
* Investment in people and culture
* Program and capital investments
* Strategic partnerships and regional Influence
* Digital transformation and data capability
* Financial sustainability and reserve strategy
Reporting directly to the Board and leading the Executive Team, the CEO will set strategic direction, ensure effective governance and compliance, and drive organisational performance. As the principal representative of PCS, the role carries responsibility for high‐level stakeholder engagement with government, funding bodies, partners, and the broader community, reinforcing the organisation's reputation and long‐term positioning.
About You
You are a values‐driven and collaborative executive leader with experience operating in complex not‐for‐profit or government environments. You bring strategic capability, commercial acumen, and a strong commitment to community outcomes.
You will demonstrate:
A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Human Services, Social Work, Humanities or similar)
A minimum of five years' experience at senior executive level (CEO, General Manager or equivalent)
Proven experience leading strategic and people planning over multiple years
Strong financial, risk management, and data‐informed decision‐making capability
Sound understanding of community services legislation, standards, and regulatory frameworks
Highly developed stakeholder engagement and communication capability
Remuneration and support
Base salary up to $170,000 plus 12% superannuation
Salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum
Vehicle for work‐related travel
