Executive Chef Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Chartwells, a dynamic and market-leading business passionate about delivering innovative hospitality solutions.
The role involves managing kitchen operations in a safe and efficient manner, promoting our safety culture framework, and bringing a high-end focus to all food services. You will take ownership of the culinary operation, leading by example in areas of operational excellence.
* Manage kitchen operations during events, conferences, and functions while ensuring quality production, sanitation, and presentation standards.
* Operate and execute menus incorporating Chartwells brand standards.
* Complete administrative tasks and share knowledge on nutrition and wellbeing.
* Take responsibility for cost control, portion control, waste minimisation, and stock control.
* Maintain a customer focus, establish relationships with key stakeholders, and be the face of culinary operations.
About You
* A qualified Executive Chef with experience in running differing service types, from large-scale events to day-to-day catering.
* Solid knowledge of food trends, focusing on quality, production, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation.
* Full understanding of Hygiene & HACCP regulations and allergen management.
* A positive leader experienced in development plans, staff training, and appraisals.
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
* Strong focus on quality delivery.
* Passionate foodie with interest in nutrition and allergy awareness.
* Excellent communication and personal presentation.
