GIS / Spatial Administrator Contract till May **** We're seeking an experienced and dedicated Principal Spatial Administrator for a contract until May **** to oversee, manage, and improve Enterprise GIS and spatial data.
What You Will Do: Oversee, manage, and improve the Enterprise GIS and spatial data, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of GIS platforms, web mapping portals, and spatial databases.
Monitor system health, performance, backups, and security, proactively addressing issues and developing solutions.
Take responsibility for the integrity of GIS data repositories and associated metadata through planning and implementation of spatial data quality and standards.
Provide expert technical advice for GIS matters, acting as a point of contact and escalation for more complex issues as required.
Design and run spatial analyses, model scenarios, and provide insightful reports and visualisations as required.
What You Need to Apply for This Role: Degree in geographic information science, computer science, information management, or other relevant field, or suitable relevant experience.
Knowledge of the ESRI ArcGIS Platform (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online) and FME.
Experience with data modelling tools and programming/scripting languages relevant to GIS workflows (e.g., Arcade, Python, SQL).
Knowledge and experience in managing geographical information systems, databases, and web delivery systems.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills in spatial data analysis and system administration.
