Brigantes PCN is looking to recruit an additional Pharmacy Technician tojoin our existing team. The current team have built excellent workingrelationships between themselves and colleagues across the PCN, practices andcolleagues from other PCNs. This is anexciting time to join Primary Care and shape the future of patient care at thefirst points of contact.

Main duties of the job
ThePharmacy Technician will work closely with the PCN Pharmacy Team,GPs and other members of the PCN and practices. The post holder will workwithin a pharmacy hub with support and guidance from other pharmacy techniciansand pharmacists to provide safe patient centred care. The pharmacy technicianwill provide technical and administrative support to the clinical pharmacistsand clinicians within practice. The post holder will be supported by theclinical pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to respond to medication relatedqueries and acute prescription requests within their competency, and medicines reconciliation following dischargefrom another care provider.
You must be independently mobile and be able to travel across the practices within Brigantes PCN and the wider Wakefield district

Qualifications
* NVQ level 3 in pharmacy services or equivalent.
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development
* Completion of CPPE primary care educational pathway.
Experience
* Adaptable and quick to make relationships with new teams
* Flexible and cooperative
* Ability to identify risk and escalate appropriately
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Evidence of working autonomously or as part of a team
* Experience working in a primary care setting / PCN
* Use of SystmOne
