Description The role: Cater Care is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Chef Manager to lead the daily culinary operations at our aged care residence in Eight Mile Plains, just a 25-minute drive from Brisbane. Key responsibilities: Dual responsibilities in food preparation/presentation and site management Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and safety practices Stock ordering, rotation, and stocktaking Assisting with bulk cooking operations Preparing and presenting texture-modified foods Participating in staff hiring, with support from the Operations Manager Skills And Experiences The ideal candidate will have: A trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate Experience managing labour, food, and operational costs Previous experience in kitchen operations and/or site management The ability to work independently and as part of a team Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail Who we are: Cater Care is a leading, 100% Australian owned contract catering service provider, operating across multiple sectors (Aged care, Education, Retirement, Retail and Remote services).
