SAP Basis Consultant - Implementation and Technical Expertise
A dynamic role for a seasoned professional, this Senior SAP Basis Consultant position requires expertise in installing, configuring, and maintaining SAP systems. As part of our team, you will lead the implementation and upgrade of SAP systems, ensuring seamless integration with client business operations. Your responsibilities will also include providing expert technical support and troubleshooting complex issues within the SAP Basis environment.
We are seeking an individual with extensive experience as a SAP Basis Consultant, preferably in a leadership role, and a strong background in SAP ECC, SAP HANA, and/or SAP S/4HANA. In-depth understanding of SAP Basis administration, including system monitoring, performance tuning, security management, and backup/recovery procedures is essential. Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP Solution Manager, and other related technologies is required.
Familiarity with SAP HANA Administration and Database Management Systems is necessary. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically are crucial. Strong communication and interpersonal skills enable effective engagement with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Project management skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources to successfully complete specific goals and meet deadlines, are vital.
This position demands a level of expertise who can demonstrate a proven track record of delivering complex SAP Basis projects, leading teams, and providing high-level technical support. The ideal candidate should be passionate about SAP technologies and looking to take on a senior role with significant responsibilities.
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant professional experience can also be considered in lieu of a degree. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team is necessary.
