**_The role_**
We currently have two exciting opportunities for experienced **Food Safety and Quality Officers** to join our Quality team, located in Pakenham. You will maintain Product Quality & Food safety Standards compliance across the business and support the site to produce all products Right First Time.
The shift times available are Afternoon (3.00pm - 11.30am) and Day (7.00am - 3.30pm).
**_Reporting to the Food Safety and Quality Assurance Supervisor, your responsibilities include:_**
- Pre-operational Inspections
- Product clearance
- Organising and driving process improvements
- Conducting internal quality systems audits
- Assisting in third party certification audits
- Daily reporting on product reviews
- Following up consumer complaints and internal non-compliance issues
- Daily GMP checks
- Monitor HACCP
- Assist in micro sampling, micro swabbing, etc.
- Perform shelf life extensions
- Daily calibration of all equipment
- Maintain Site Pest control program
Being a self-starter, you will be ready to hit the ground running and bring fresh ideas to the table. The day will be challenging and varied, and no two days are alike, so a keen grasp of time management and ability to hit deadlines is a must. You will be comfortable in an environment with ambiguity, frequent change & unpredictability.
