Southern Cross Global is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Manager, Study Abroad & Partnerships to lead international partnership development and student recruitment initiatives across study abroad, transnational education (TNE), and pathway channels. Sitting across both global mobility and partnerships, this newly created role will play a key part in supporting SCU's international growth strategy and strengthening the University's global profile.
Responsibilities
* Driving international student recruitment growth through partnership and global mobility channels
* Developing and managing strategic relationships with offshore partners, pathway providers, and government stakeholders
* Identifying and progressing new business development opportunities aligned with University priorities
* Leading partner channel recruitment plans and supporting transnational education and study abroad initiatives
* Representing SCU at international events, partnership meetings, and global engagement activities

You are a proactive and commercially minded relationship builder who enjoys working in a fast-paced and evolving environment. You bring strong business development capability, confidence engaging with diverse stakeholders, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‐on delivery.
You are comfortable working autonomously, identifying worthwhile opportunities, and building the business case to progress new initiatives that support long‐term growth and global engagement outcomes.
Requirements
* A relevant degree and 5 years subsequent experience in international student recruitment and business development, or equivalent;
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder and partner relationships across diverse cultural contexts
* Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Experience developing and implementing strategic initiatives or projects to achieve business outcomes
* Knowledge of the international education sector and Australian regulatory requirements relating to international students

Remuneration and benefits
* Full‐time, continuing (permanent)
* Located at either Gold Coast, QLD 4225 or Lismore, NSW 2480. Relocation assistance is available, making it easier to join our regional communities.
* HEW Level 7. The base salary ranges from $108,361 – $117,660 per annum, plus 17% employer's contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $137,662.
