Continuing Full Time Appointment

Professional Level 4/5 – annual salary $70,037 – $87,716 pa

Plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave

Tennant Creek/Alice Springs Campus

Provides key enrolment, enquiry, and campus support while assisting staff and maintaining smooth TAFE operations in the Tennant Creek and Barkly region.

About the Position

As the Regional TAFE Officer, you will deliver general administrative support to PVC & CE TAFE Office, ensuring smooth operations and positive student and staff experiences for Tennant Creek and Barkly region. You will provide frontline support for the Tennant Creek Campus by assisting lecturing staff with classrooms, enrolments, and campus logistics

About You

To be successful, you will require:

* Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience in administrative or student services roles, including enrolments, records management, and enquiry handling.
* Competence in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems or similar, to track enquiries and student interactions.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small regional team environment

Additional Key Selection Criteria at Professional Level 5

* Demonstrated experience in supporting business development, stakeholder engagement, or regional projects.
* Knowledge of local Tennant Creek and Barkly communities and emerging training needs.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support regional growth initiatives.
* Willingness and capacity to undertake travel, including to Alice Springs, as required.

Remuneration

Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 4/5. The base salary will be in the range of $70,037 – $87,716 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $ $102,627 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
