Job Title:
Strategic Cost Management Professional - Defense
Key Responsibilities:
* Highly skilled in Pre-Contract & Post Contract Quantity Surveying including cost estimation, commercial management, variation and claims management, monitoring project budgets.
* Create detailed cost plans and capital estimates through the design phase, delivering updated cost plans at key design milestones.
* Develop cost reports and estimate packages, regularly presenting to stakeholders and senior leaders.
* Contribute to design optioneering and value engineering exercises with commercial expertise.
Focusing on quality deliverables and career growth opportunities. Work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to lead junior team members.
Requirements:
* Australia Defence clearance or Australian Citizenship is a must
* Quantity Surveying or related degree with >5 years' experience
* AIQS or RICS membership is highly desirable but not essential
* Proficiency in CostX is preferred
