 
        
        Pymble Golf Club, located in St Ives on Sydney's North Shore, is a prestigious private members club known for its strong traditions and commitment to community engagement. We are currently seeking an experienced full-time Sous Chef & Chef de Partie to join our professional team.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Head Chef you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in line with our fine dining standards. You will be responsible for managing your section, contributing to menu development whilst ensuring adherence to HACCP and cleanliness standards.
This is a full-time role requiring availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
 * Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with Pymble's high standards.
 * Collaborate with the Head Chef and team to develop and contribute new menu ideas.
 * Oversee the daily setup of your section, ensuring efficient and seamless kitchen operations.
 * Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations, including HACCP standards.
 * Demonstrate leadership by setting a positive example and working independently when needed.
 * Consistently monitor food quality throughout all stages of preparation.
Requirements
 * Minimum of two years' experience in a comparable culinary role.
 * Strong attention to detail with a dedication to delivering excellence.
 * Solid understanding of food safety standards and awareness of current culinary trends.
 * Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
 * Ability to stay organised and perform effectively in high-pressure environments.
 * Relevant culinary qualifications and hands-on kitchen experience.
 * Flexible availability, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
 * Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia.
 * NSW Food Safety Certificate
 * Food Safety Supervisor certification
