FIFO Exploration Geologist role in QLD. 15:6 roster, day shifts only!

An opportunity is available for an Exploration Geologist to join an active field based drilling program in Far North Queensland. Working as part of a growingexploration team, you will assist with day‑to‑day geological activities across RC and diamond drilling programs. This hands‑on role is well suited to early career explorationgeologists looking to gain strong site experience in a remote FIFO environment.
Key responsibilitieswill include:
• Geological loggingof RC and diamond drill samples
• Sample collection,preparation, and dispatch
• Supporting drillprograms with accurate data capture and documentation
• Assisting withQA/QC procedures
• Working closelywith field crews to meet daily drilling and sampling targets
• Maintainingsafety, environmental, and housekeeping standards onsite
Thisrole operates on a 15:6 FIFO roster, day shifts only, flying to Cairns with DIDO travel to site.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To be successful inthis role, you will have:
• 2–3 years’experience in mineral exploration
• Exposure to RC anddiamond drilling programs
• Strong logging andsampling skills
• Current manualdriver’s licence
•Ability to pass a full pre‑employment medical and D&A screening
• First Aidcertification (preferred)
• Australian workingrights or a valid working visa
