Base salary ranges from $140,740 to $150,109 plus employer's contribution to superannuation of 12% and annual leave loading.
About the role
The Technical Records Airworthiness Assessor (Maintenance Controller) provides instruction and guidance to the Aviation Command maintenance control staff to ensure all Aviation Command maintenance operations are conducted in compliance with the appropriate Aviation regulatory framework. The role also develops and implements plans and strategies to ensure all Aviation Command aircraft are maintained at the highest possible standard.
Responsibilities
* Deliver instruction and guidance to maintain compliance with aviation regulatory framework.
* Develop and implement plans and strategies for maintaining Aviation Command aircraft.
* Maintain CASA licences in a minimum of two categories of aircraft maintenance engineer (B1 & C or B2 & C) or possess extensive industry experience in aircraft maintenance control, planning and scheduling.
* Hold or be eligible to hold maintenance controller delegation pursuant to Civil Aviation Regulation 42ZV.
* Meet the requirements of Schedule 9 of CAR 1988.
Qualifications
* Schedule 9 of CAR 1988 compliance.
* CASA licences in at least two categories of aircraft maintenance engineer (B1 & C or B2 & C) or equivalent industry experience.
* Eligibility for maintenance controller delegation under Civil Aviation Regulation 42ZV.
