JOINERY APPRENTICE – CASUAL ROLE (BERWICK VIC) PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NOT OFFERING AN APPRENTICESHIP. This is a casual role designed to support someone who is starting their career in joinery or carpentry and is seeking real-world, hands-on experience. About the Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated junior or recent graduate to assist with joinery projects and also take on some tasks as their own projects. This provides the chance to earn money while gaining valuable industry experience and developing confidence in running small jobs. What
You Will Learn
How to plan and scope a project from start to finish
How to choose the right materials for budget, function, and finish
Practical joinery techniques and installation processes
Understanding measurements, fittings, and timelines
How to manage a project as if it were your own client job
Key Tasks
Assisting with pantry and kitchen joinery projects
Helping select and source materials
Cutting, assembling, and installing joinery elements
Taking responsibility for your own small projects, with guidance and support
Requirements
Interest in joinery/carpentry and robust willingness to learn
Ideally undertaking or recently completed a Certificate III in
Carpentry/Joinery (not mandatory)
Reliable, punctual, and motivated
Able to follow directions and maintain secure work practices
