Located 38 kilometres south of Mackay, Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal Pty Ltd operates with a name plate capacity of 85 million tonnes per annum exporting coal from Central Queensland to ports around the world. This wouldn't be possible without great people - people just like you.
An exciting, fixed term opportunity exists for an experienced People and Culture Officer to join our team. This role works closely with a collaborative and fast paced team, supporting key activities across learning and development, human resources, and organisational projects.
The position plays an important role in coordinating end to end recruitment processes and delivering high quality administrative support across all People and Culture functions. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing a diverse and time sensitive workload, maintaining strong responsiveness to internal and external stakeholders, and applying effective prioritisation to meet operational requirements.
What we are looking for:
* Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong process focus and commitment to data accuracy
* High level data entry capability, including maintaining data integrity across HRIS, LMS and other organisational systems
* Demonstrated experience in scheduling and planning, particularly in recruitment processes
* Advanced administrative skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), and the ability to manage documentation, reporting and workflow processes
* Professional and approachable communication style, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all organisational levels
* Proven ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple systems and databases, including HRIS, LMS, ERP and other business systems
* Well developed written and verbal communication skills
* Strong time management and prioritisation capability
* Demonstrated experience in People and Culture administrative functions, including recruitment support, onboarding and employee benefits administration
* Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, including with candidates, training providers, apprentices, and internal stakeholders
