I am recruiting for a Senior Manager within Enterprise Model Validation to lead independent validation of models across capital, liquidity, stress testing, and financial crime, whilst influencing the direction of model risk governance across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead hands-on validation of enterprise-wide models – from methodology and design to implementation and documentation.
- Assess models for compliance with internal policy and regulatory standards.
- Work directly with senior stakeholders and mentor junior analysts in a high-impact risk function.
- Help drive innovation in model governance, including the responsible use of AI and emerging technologies.
You will need:
- Solid experience validating models in financial crime, liquidity, stress testing, or similar areas.
- Solid coding ability in Python, R, SAS or SQL.
- Deep understanding of regulatory standards, financial statements, and Pillar III disclosures.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and leadership skills.
- A strategic mindset with the courage to constructively challenge the status quo.
- You must have PR or Citizenship for Australia.
