About the Role
The Physiotherapist (TCP) plays a vital role in evaluating patients' physical function, developing tailored treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to restore, maintain, and enhance independence.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, empower patients and families with education and self-care strategies, and promote overall health and wellness in a culturally safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of physical function (mobility, strength, coordination, balance).
* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans using evidence-based techniques (exercise programs, manual therapy, hydrotherapy).
* Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide ongoing encouragement.
* Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals (occupational therapists, rehabilitation staff, Aboriginal Health Workers).
* Provide education to patients and families on recovery, prevention, and home exercise programs.
* Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress.
* Ensure ethical, professional, and culturally respectful care.

Essential Requirements
* Bachelor of Physiotherapy.
* Current registration with AHPRA.
* WA Driver's Licence.
* National Police Clearance (within 3 months).
* Vulnerable People's Check.
* Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
* Australian citizenship required for this position.

Skills & Attributes
* Experience working with First Nations people.
* Previous experience working with First Nations people is an essential requirement for this role.
* Prior clinical experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting.
* Minimum of 1-2 years clinical physiotherapy experience required.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
* Commitment to person-centred care and trauma-informed practice.
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team.
* Proficiency in record management, data collection, and reporting.
