We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Operations Specialist to join our Computershare Plan Managers (CPM) team based in our Yarra Falls office. If you are passionate about helping clients navigate the complex world of taxes, we would love to hear from you!

The Computershare Plan Managers (CPM) global division supports over 1,200 clients and 5 million share plan participants across 124 countries. We have 1,400 employees in 16 countries and are the largest provider of Employee Share Plan management services in Australia.

**A role you will love**

The Tax Operations Specialist is responsible for the delivery of all Employee Share Scheme (ESS) Australian Tax Office (ATO) reporting obligations. You will ensure that all Australian tax obligations related to employee share plans are fulfilled, which entails handling annual reporting for the Employee Share Scheme (ESS) tax and making any necessary adjustments to ESS tax reporting.

**Some of the other key accountabilities**:

- Generating all the necessary reports pertaining to Computershare's tax reporting requirements
- Ensuring Quality checks of all data output, broadcasts, and personalisation
- Resolving queries relating to taxing statuses/points processed via various Computershare systems
- Working collaboratively with client-facing teams to produce high quality reports and mailings
- Ensuring all Compliance tasks and projects are completed within the specific timeframe
- Supporting with the completion of annual tax reporting and issuance of applicable tax statements

You will require a good understanding of how the wider team supporting Tax Reporting works together to successfully deliver all reporting within the regulatory timescales

**Some other key skills that you'll have**:

- Share plans experience and knowledge of process and procedure and applicable tax treatments
- Experienced at working with tax regulators and securities and familiar with the broader financial industry and its key drivers
- Good understanding and adherence to regulatory requirements
