 
        
        The Business Development team works on some of the biggest and most impactful charters at Uber including Consumer, Membership, Payments, Travel, Supply and Sustainability partnerships. We are at the core of the business strategy, giving you the chance to work with global and cross-functional stakeholders. **About the Role** 
BD leads the partnerships business for Uber cross-functionally - and across most of the ever-expanding lines of business at Uber. This role is the critical Strategic business partner for the APAC Business Development team - working hand-in-hand with the APAC MD of Business Development to drive core Strategy and Planning. 
**The Impact You'll Have** 
- Develop global and regional business development strategy, including opportunity sizing and prioritization of resources (BD, Product, Operations, Marketing). 
- Drive team accountability by managing the deal pipeline and review process, including deal approvals and deal performance tracking and reporting. 
- Ensure deals serve company strategy, accounting for risk appropriately, monitoring competitive developments, identifying KPIs, and estimating financial impacts 
- Launch and manage tools and processes that are foundational to the operation of the APAC and Global BD Orgs 
- Support financial modeling and analytics needs of diverse APAC sub-regions 
**Basic Qualifications** 
- Highly analytical with strong financial modeling and complex problem-solving skills 
- Strong commercial strategy background with experience developing strategic projects including market and segment analysis 
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (Business Development, Legal, Finance, Accounting, etc.) in a highly complex, matrixed and sophisticated business environment. 
**Preferred Qualifications** 
- Business Degree/post-grad preferred 
- Extensive background in either a Strategy, Consulting, or Business Development role. 
- Understanding of BD execution (deal-making) alongside a strategy background will be valuable 
- Understanding of technology, and especially the logistics, transit, and delivery spaces considered a plus.
