About the Role
Join MANAWISE Care as a Residential Care Youth Worker or Senior Youth Worker and make a real difference in the lives of young people facing complex challenges. You'll provide a safe, stable, and nurturing environment while helping them build resilience and life skills for a brighter future.
Key Responsibilities
* Create a safe, supportive, and structured home environment
* Build positive relationships with young people, families, and the community
* Support social, emotional, and life skill development
* Assist young people in making healthy choices and accessing healthcare
* Work collaboratively with a therapeutic care team to deliver tailored care plans
* Complete reports, case notes, and documentation accurately
Mandatory Requirements
* Experience in Youth Work, Child Safety, or related field
* Cert IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar
* Current Open Australian Driver's Licence
* Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
* Availability for shift work, including weekends and sleepovers
* Current Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
* Hope and Healing training (or willingness to obtain)
* National Police Check
* Ability to obtain an LCS check

You're passionate about supporting vulnerable young people and committed to creating positive change. You bring empathy, resilience, and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage challenging behaviours and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
