Working closely with our broader international and corporate tax specialists across the EY network in Australia and overseas, you would be part of an integrated team striving to help our clients thrive in a global environment.This role is based in Boorloo – Perth. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.Your Key ResponsibilitiesApply complex transfer pricing concepts and business, economic, and financial knowledge to help resolve client challenges. Support Partners on high-level engagements, including transfer pricing reviews, audits, and Advance Pricing Arrangements with the ATO and other tax authorities.Manage engagements and maintain day-to-day client relationships, including participating in meetings with clients and tax authorities. Review transfer pricing analyses, documentation, and models prepared by team members to ensure quality and accuracy.Mentor, train, and support the development of team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages growth and knowledge sharing.What We Look ForIdeally, you’ll have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.Possess at least 5 to 6 years of Transfer Pricing experience within a top-tier accounting firm, corporate, tax consulting, or legal environment. Demonstrate good drafting skills, the ability to apply facts to Transfer Pricing legislation, and advise clients on the implications.Have experience in assimilating complex information and data sources to provide succinct and well-informed recommendations. Exhibit strong teaming and leadership skills with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly.Show strong commercial acumen, staying abreast of wider legal, economic, environmental, and political factors that influence transfer pricing. Exceptional client service orientation and a collaborative approach to teaming are essential.Hold an Economics degree, Accounting degree, Legal degree, Certified Practising Accountant, or Chartered Accountant qualification. Financial modelling, Excel skills, AI skills, and Bloomberg skills are beneficial.
