The Opportunity

You Will:
* Lead or co‐lead internal audits, compliance reviews, performance assessments, and risk engagements
* Shape scopes, methodologies, and testing approaches with confidence
* Provide clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders
* Mentor and develop junior team members
* Elevate Axiom's assurance practice through methodology and framework enhancements
* Support scoping, proposals, and client development initiatives
What You Bring
* Strong experience across internal audit, risk, or assurance
* Polished communication — written and verbal
* Ability to manage competing priorities with calm professionalism
* Strong analytical capability and sound judgement
* Curiosity, initiative, and a solutions‐focused mindset
* Professional qualifications, equivalent to (CA / CPA) or working towards them
* Government experience is valued but not essential

Eligibility
Australian citizenship is required due to the nature of our clients and work. You must be eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance, which includes checks of your background and personal history over the past 5+ years. If you don't already hold a clearance, we'll guide you through the process after offer acceptance.
