Industrial Spray Painter – Fuel Tankers & Bunded Fuel Tanks
Location: Western Suburbs, Melbourne
Pay Rate: $55.00 per hour (Normal time) + Superannuation
Additional Benefits: $27 Daily Travel Allowance
About the Role:
TRS Resourcing seeks qualified Industrial Spray Painters to join our client's team in Melbourne's western suburbs. This role focuses on the two-pack painting of newly manufactured fuel tankers and bunded fuel tanks. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform meticulous sanding and masking to prepare surfaces for painting.
* Accurately mix and match paints in line with build specifications.
* Apply primers and finishing coats using HVLP spray guns.
* Interpret workshop drawings and build specification sheets effectively.
* Prioritise tasks to meet production deadlines.
* Work autonomously or collaboratively within a team setting.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in industrial two-pack spray painting, particularly on trucks (chassis), trailer bodies, or agricultural equipment.
* Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
* Trade qualification in Spray Painting.
* Current residency in Melbourne, Victoria.
* Legal right to work in Australia.

Due to the specialised nature of this role, only candidates with relevant industrial equipment spray painting experience will be considered.
