We are seeking a Guest Services Agent to join our team. Experience working in hotel reservations is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
Key responsibilities include:
* Always greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
* Maintain a neat, clean and professional appearance at all times
* Engage each guest as a unique individual and listen attentively to their requests
* Answer the phone in a timely and professional manner
* Build and prepare daily reports
* Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guests needs are met daily
* Responsible balancing of daily accounts
* Listen to guests complaints or concerns and resolve their issue in a timely manner
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Previous experience in a front office position
* A qualification in hospitality services
* Computer skills are essential
* Knowledge of RMS or other hotel PMS systems & travel agents
* Exceptional interpersonal skills to enhance service standards throughout the operation
* Time management skills are essential
* Ability to work effectively in an often fast paced environment by multi tasking
This part-time role offers:
* Competitive hourly rate of $28-$35 per hour
* Flexible scheduling including weekends and public holidays
* Penalty rates apply for weekend work
Covid-19 considerations:
* Fully vaccinated staff are required due to government mandates
Requirements:
* Availability to work most weekends and public holidays
* Previous hotel experience is preferred
* Australia (preferred) work authorisation
