We require talented Sommeliers to join our team of hospitality professionals, to immerse yourself in an in-depth, quality training program and help launch our brand-new restaurant concept. You'll be working within an extensive, premium beverage offering Australian, New Zealand, and International Brands from France, Italy, Argentina, and the United States, matched with a refined menu all delivered by our "A" team through and beyond a challenging new restaurant opening.
Key Objective:
To help develop and maintain a superior level of Wine & Beverage service and product standards to ensure the ultimate level of customer satisfaction.
Day to day responsibilities:
 * Providing guests with a superior level of Wine & Beverage knowledge to enhance customer satisfaction within their 6 HEAD dining experience.
 * Help lead, develop, and educate the Beverage Team on a day-to-day basis.
 * To support the 6 HEAD floor team in delivering efficient Wine & Beverage service in line with the 6 HEAD sequence of service.
 * Assisting the floor team in increasing spend per head through maximizing Wine & Beverage sales and upselling premium products.
 * Ensuring all 6 HEAD Wine & Beverages served are of the utmost quality, presentation, and respect.
 * Assist with all Wine & Beverage ordering, cellar, and cool room maintenance, and stocktaking.
 * Glassware and decanter maintenance with 'Riedel' and glass training with staff.
 * Any other relevant duties as directed by management.
What are we looking for?
 * Minimum 2 years of Premium Wine & Beverage Experience.
 * Minimum WSET Level 2 Required.
 * CMS Sommeliers Course an advantage – Introductory / Certified.
 * Effective planning and time management skills.
 * Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
 * Interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
 * Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.
 * Current RSA Certificate/Competency Card.
 * Exceptional personal hygiene and presentation.
 * Service experience, interest, skill, and success in the restaurant industry.
 * Excellent understanding of Australian Wine, International Wines, French, Italian, South American, Spirits, Cocktail Knowledge, Preparation, Beer Knowledge.
