I am currently working with a well-regarded client-side consultancy that's looking to bring on an Assistant Project Manager who's ready to step up into a Project Manager role. This position will see you embedded with a reputable tertiary education client in the southeastern suburbs, delivering infrastructure renewal works across a live campus environment.
* Salary package up to $120,000 (Inc) + Discretionary Bonus.
* Hybrid Working Environment - 3 days a week on site in the southeastern suburbs.

This is an opportunity to get exposure and diversity in projects including asset replacement, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic services upgrades, façade and cladding works, compliance upgrades, fire services, and related infrastructure works.
What you'll be doing:
* Managing projects end-to-end across capital works, refurbs, upgrades and fitouts.
* Taking projects from inception to completion, with a strong focus on compliance and minimising disruption in a live environment.
* Building strong relationships with stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
* Handling budgets, procurement, tendering, contract management, and reporting.
* Managing risks, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
* Driving a collaborative, solutions-focused approach across project teams.
What my client is looking for:
* Circa 3–4 years' experience in project management (contractor or client-side project management consultancy preferred).
* Exposure to upgrade, fitout, or refurbishment projects in live environments (ideally in education or health).
* Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Experience with managing contracts, procurement, and financial management.
* Someone proactive, hands-on, and comfortable taking ownership.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and keep things moving.
* Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similar.
Nice to have:
* Experience within tertiary education environments.
The setup:
* Based on site in the southeastern suburbs 3 days a week.
* 2 days split between WFH and office.
* Immediate requirement tied to a major infrastructure renewal program.
