An exciting opportunity currently exists for you to join the Chief Operating Officer as an Occupational Therapist- Rural Reliever. You will deliver Occupational Therapy clinical services proportionate to level of skills and abilities within a variety of acute and sub-acute clinical service areas of rural Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service facilities.

About your opportunity:
Utilising increasing professional and clinical knowledge, expertise and clinical decision-making skills to enhance service delivery in line with clinical and departmental work instructions, under the clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of a more senior clinician.
Contributing to the identification, development and implementation of quality and service improvement activities including effective risk management, in order to enhance the delivery of safe and efficient Occupational Therapy clinical services
Fostering and maintaining close communication links with internal (including multidisciplinary team) and external stakeholders to ensure coordination of patient care in a professional manner.
