About The Role
As a Streetscape Plant Operator, you'll help keep Inner West Council's streets, verges and public spaces clean, safe and welcoming. Working within the Parks and Streetscapes team, you'll carry out tasks such as street and footpath sweeping, verge mowing, litter collection and general streetscape maintenance.
You'll operate plant and equipment safely, use field devices to manage daily work plans and ensure all work meets Council's service standards. The role suits someone who enjoys outdoor, hands‐on work, can work independently, and takes pride in supporting the local community.
You'll also collaborate with other teams, assist during emergencies or wet‐weather duties, and occasionally step into higher duties when required. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a team that values integrity, respect, innovation, compassion and collaboration.

Please note there are multiple roles including a 3am start, 5am start and 6:30am start.
Remuneration
$64,459.72 - $71,080.88 + 12% Superannuation
Some of the Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications
* Industry experience in streetscape operations.
* Ability to work without close supervision.
* Demonstrated experience with field devices (e.g. tablets) for managing daily team work plans.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing, including the ability to comprehend maps, street signage & work schedules and complete daily report for.
* MR Driver's Licence (for truck operating positions only).
