This is a newly created, hybrid Property Management and Accounts role with a market leader in the real estate and property management industry offering a rare blend of office-based financial administration and hands-on property work.
Designed for someone who enjoys both structure and variety, the position supports a diverse predominantly commercial property portfolio within a relaxed, professional working environment.
Opportunity
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the property portfolio, working across trust accounting, owner reporting, inspections and maintenance coordination.
This is a highly visible role within the business, providing direct support to Property Managers, tenants and property owners while maintaining strong financial, compliance and service standards.
This position offers genuine variety combining desk-based financial and administrative work with regular site visits, inspections and portfolio support looking after around 50 properties.
Responsibilities
Process rent, invoices, bonds, bank guarantees and property outgoings
Manage accounts payable and receivable for the commercial and residential portfolio
Prepare monthly owner statements and complete trust account reconciliations
Monitor arrears and assist with follow-ups
Support budget tracking, audits and end-of-year reporting
Maintain accurate and compliant financial and tenancy records
Conduct routine, entry and exit inspections
Prepare detailed inspection and condition reports
Identify maintenance issues and coordinate contractors
Communicate with tenants, owners and the wider property team
Provide operational and administrative support to Property Managers
Job Offering
Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 (negotiable based on experience)
Superannuation: 12%
Vehicle Allowance: $5,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (1 hour for lunch)
Portfolio: Primarily commercial property management

Licences and Experience
Current Real Estate Licence or Registration
Experience in property management within either residential or commercial with additional skills across trust accounting or property administration
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and professional reporting skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
Experience with PropertyTree, Cirrus8 or similar systems (advantageous)
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
