Project Context 
Bechtel is providing project and contract management services to customers in Western Australia to support capital works programmes, including aviation, defence and energy infrastructure. We seek individuals to join long-term relationships within integrated teams with our customers and to help build Bechtel’s capabilities for future opportunities. 
Job Summary 
As the Reporting Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Project Controls and be responsible for independently coordinating and consolidating cost and schedule inputs into various Project Management level reports used by the project team to monitor performance. The Reporting Manager will provide day-to-day support to the Head of Project Controls. 
Major Responsibilities 
- Interface with Project Controls functional department for reporting coordination and consistent application of procedures. 
- Provide and/or coordinate non-routine cost engineering/planning and scheduling needs. 
- Coordinate and consolidate input for monthly and weekly reports. 
- Preparation of board papers. 
- Administration of cost and schedule reporting systems. 
- Monitor cost recording and reporting practices for compliance with applicable standards. 
- Develop and ensure the accuracy of cost reports; verify consistency with previous reports. 
- Accountable for weekly executive reporting. 
- Formatting and preparation of functional procedures and other documents as required. 
- Coordinate approval of documents including trends and procedures in line with governance. 
- Coordinate Key Activities for Successful Execution (KASE) reviews. 
Education And Experience Requirements 
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience. 
Required Knowledge And Skills 
- Skill in working and communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, with other project functional groups. Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members. 
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word including use of macros, PowerBI. Experience with project controls tools is desirable. 
- Experience with cost management system reporting is an advantage. 
- Undertake research and gather information from sources on project/corporate for various reports. 
- Must be a self-starter capable of working complex tasks through to completion with limited direction. 
- Must have excellent communications skills and be comfortable working with senior management as well as customer representatives. 
- Commitment to quality of deliverables is imperative.
